Events
In 1997 Vanessa teamed up with Humphrey Barclay at LWT where she assisted
him in developing new comedy talent under the LWT banner. Vanessa also
co-produced writers' workshops and championed Seamus Hilley's Moonstompers,
which eventually showcased in the 1998 Channel Four sitcom festival. At the
same time, she also served on the LWT/Granada Comedy Writing Panel at the
Edinburgh Festival from 1997 to 1999.
In 2002, Vanessa helped develop the sitcom format and acted as Script Editor
for the first series of Basil Brush's much vaunted comeback. She was also
busy creating and co-writing Lou's Zoo, a feature length comedy drama
and Lookpuppy, a new comedy show for television.
She is currently in Belfast,
developing new television projects.
